The ABAs are now in their ninth year and they recognize achievement in every facet of the workplace. There are management awards, marketing awards, new product awards, public relations awards, human resources awards, and information technology awards. There are even web site awards, video awards, event awards, and other categories that recognize all forms of creative media. The trophy that’s conferred by the ABAs is called the Stevie, and it’s made by the same company that makes the Oscar, and it’s as impressive as an Oscar.
Every year thousands of organizations across the U.S. compete for Stevie Awards in the ABAs. The winners list features household names like Walmart, Apple, and Marriott, but mostly it features small and medium-size companies that most of us have never heard of, that are doing remarkable things in their industries or their areas.
