I must admit, I missed this one.
We’ve been running the PEER 1 Hosting banner ad you see here on the Spiceworks tech community site to promote our channel partner program. As you can see, the ad features two stick men, innocently I might add, helping one another build a puzzle. Well, the Spiceworks community sees something very different. Very different. When it was first brought to my attention, I couldn’t conceive how two of our stick men could be misconstrued in some adulterous manner. The community thread is hilarious. So now the question is, do you agree? Is this a good ad gone bad or just a bad ad?
If you think this is a banner ad fail, then create a new one and send it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll review it with my team, choose the best one and replace ours with yours, along with a credit to you on the banner ad along with your website address.
UPDATE: The Spiceworks community has started submitting new banner ad ideas. See here
