Starbucks built an empire on burnt beans and making people who don&#039;t like coffee believe that they do -- through high profit syrup-and-milk concoctions. Calling Starbucks a &quot;coffee shop&quot; is a misnomer -- it is truly a dairy store, if you look at sales volume.

So Starbucks is nothing but options for non-coffee drinkers. As a coffee drinker, that&#039;s perhaps the main reason I never go there unless I&#039;m desperate.</description>
