Yesterday, was the MASSIVE Technology Conference in Vancouver. PEER 1 was the title sponsor for the third year straight and I would say it was by far the best one! Great caliber of attendees and excellent speaker lineup. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to listen in on the keynote speaker, Leonard Brody, best-selling author of Innovation Nation: Canadian Leadership from Jurassic Park to Java and Everything I Needed to Know About Business… I Learned from a Canadian – but I heard he was great! Huge kudos to Lindsay Smith, the event organizer who did an tremendous job putting the show together. The show reminds me just how vibrant Vancouver’s hi-tech community really is. EA, Radical, Yahoo!, Google, and Adobe were just some of the more recognizable companies who were represented at the show. The biggest topic of interest amongst attendees was, not surprisingly, blogging and social media. Roland at Bryght interviewed guests in the PEER 1 Pipeline (PEER 1 and nine client booths) and is posting them up on his blog. You can check them out here. You can also view pictures here.
