As you’ve heard by now, Boston was put in a state of panic yesterday as reports of ‘bomb sightings’ around the city’s transportation infrastructure were being investigated. It turns out, the bombs were LED boards featuring the ‘Mooninites’ from the Adult Swim’s animated show Aqua Team Hunger Force in an effort to promote an upcoming movie. The irony is that these LED boards have been out for weeks before the uproar. Below is the apology message that appears on Adult Swim’s web site. Not quite what they had in mind. Or was it?
