I know the Google –YouTube acquisition has been blogged to death so I won’t go on about it, other than to say what a great story. Chad and Steve’s drive to take a simple video sharing idea back in 2005, disrupt the Internet and catch all the big media moguls with their pants down, and now 15 months later sell it to Google for $1.65 billion is nothing short of brilliant! Each of the co-founders walked away with a reported cool $200 million according to GigaOM. Not bad for just over a year’s work.
